Maria Donata's farm is an antique restored country-house equipped with any comfort.
It is provided with six spacious bedrooms furnished with antique furniture, a large lounge, dining rooms, a large arcade, a sunterrace and a swimming-pool in the green of olive-trees. On the farm there are a playing field for children and mountain-bikes are also available. At a distance of 1 km lies a small lake for club-fishing and a riding-arena.
In the surroundings there are numerous testimonies of history and art, tracing back to Benedectine an Cistercian monasteries of past centuries.
The farm lies 30 minutes away from the sea, from the mountains of the National Parks of Maiella and Gran Sasso and from the termal baths.
It takes 2 hours to arrive from Rome, 2 hours and a half from Naples and 30 minutes from Pescara-Airport.
The holding, which lies at an antique path used by the shepherds for the transhumance (moving of sheep to and from the higher pastures), has an area of 6 Ha, where DOP oil (oil with EC-certification of protected origin), fruit, vegetables and spelt are produced biologically.
It can be reached leaving the motorway Rome-Pescara at the exit Alanno-Scafa and then heading in the direction of Cugnoli.
